Human remains identified in Prince George

** Update October 30, 2009:
As a result of the findings of a forensic autopsy, preformed in Kamloops yesterday, on the body of Jill Stacey Stuchenko, found in a gravel pit, off of Otway Road, Prince George the 26th of October; the Prince George Detachment Serious Crimes Unit has advised that they are now treating the investigation as a homicide. The cause of death is not being released at this time.
The Serious Crimes Unit in Prince George has positively identified a body which was found Monday, October 26th, in a gravel pit just off of Otway Road, as those of 35 year old Prince George resident, Jill Stacey Stuchenko. Stuchenko, had been subject of a missing person's press release, issued by the Prince George RCMP Detachment Friday, October the 23rd. At this time, the cause of death is unknown.
Prince George Detachment Serious Crimes Unit continue to treat this disturbing incident as suspicious. A forensic autopsy is being conducted in Kamloops today. Police, are asking for the public's assistance with this investigation.
