RCMPshield_crest2On September 7, at approximately 11:00am Prince George RCMP were called to a robbery in progress at the CIBC Bank located at the Spruceland Mall in the 700 block of Central Street.

RCMP were advised that an elderly male entered the bank and demanded money from the clerk. He was described as being Caucasian, 75-to-80 years old , had wavy grey hair, facial stubble and was wearing a long down jacket with grey jogging pants.

Police located the suspect, who was not far from the area, and he was taken into custody without incident.  Police arrested a 75 year old man who is known to police and he will be held for court regarding robbery charges.
