RCMPshield_crest2The 100 Mile House RCMP responded to 95 complaints and calls for service last week. 

On July 12, the owner of a Ford F-350 towing a Harbour Craft boat stopped overnight at the 94 Mile Hotel.  He last checked on the vehicle at 11:00pm. 

At 5:15am on July 13, he reported that the vehicle and boat had been stolen. 

The items are described as:

  • a white 2007 Ford F-350 pick-up with BC License plate 0999HV
  • a grey 2008 Karavan boat trailer with BC License plate UKA38E
  • a blue 2008 - 19 foot Harbour Craft Adventure with a hull identification number QBSY7799H708 and motor

The owner had both sets of keys.  There were no signs of damage from the site where the items were stolen from.

 On July 14, 100 Mile Traffic Services stopped a vehicle leaving a liquor establishment in 100 Mile House.  The driver exhibited signs of alcohol consumption.  An approved roadside screen device was administered, which resulted in a fail.  The driver was detained and returned to the 100 Mile House detachment.  Two breath samples were obtained of 290 and 280 mg%.  The vehicle was towed.  Charges of Impaired Driving and Driving Over The Legal Limit are being recommended to Crown against a 59 year old resident of 100 Mile House, with a court date of September.

 

On July 16, 100 Mile House RCMP received a report that sometime overnight, a vehicle had been vandalized while it was parked at a residence in the 4900 block of Smith Road.  Approximately $900 in damages was done to the front windshield and rear window of the vehicle.  Noises had been heard in the area at 1:30am.

 

On July 18, the 100 Mile House RCMP received a report that a vehicle had been reported stolen from Marmot Ridge Golf Course.  The vehicle had been parked at that location at 3:30pm.  The complainant discovered the vehicle gone upon completing a round of golf.  The vehicle is described as a 2007 black Buick Allure with BC license plates 700 HXP.  Some contents from the vehicle were located a short distance away.
