100 Mile House RCMP highlights to June 14, 2010

100 Mile House RCMP responded to 63 complaints and calls for service over the last week. Some of the highlights are listed below.:
On June 9, 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a domestic disturbance in area of 103 Mile Lake Road, in 103 Mile. A female victim has been assaulted by her common-law boyfriend. The victim did not suffer serious injuries. The make suspect was located at another residence and arrested. He was subsequently released on conditions. Charges of assault are being recommended to Crown against a 23 year old resident of 100 Mile House.
On June 10, 100 Mile House RCMP received a report of mischief to the Horse Lake Elementary School. A window on the southwest side of the building had been broken. The investigation into this matter is continuing.
On June 10, 100 Mile House RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a seasonal residence in the Murphy Lake area. The occurred sometime in early spring. A water pump, a water heater, beds and some other articles were missing from the residence.
On June 12, 100 Mile House RCMP executed a search warrant pursuant to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act at a residence on Station Road. 247 marijuana plants in various stages of production were seized, along with marijuana growing equipment. Charges of Production of a Controlled Substance and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking are being recommended to Crown against a 47 year old resident of the Lower Mainland.
