RCMPshield_crest2100 Mile House RCMP responded to 63 complaints and calls for service over the last week. 

On February 24, 100 Mile Traffic Services and 100 Mile House RCMP  responded to a collision between a 4-wheel ATV and a tree.  The alleged driver was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.  The ATV was determined to have been reported stolen from the 108 Mile Ranch in December of 2009.  The driver was released from hospital and issued an appearance notice for possession of stolen property with a court date of May 2010. 

On February 25, 100 Mile House RCMP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver and the vehicle description was provided.  The vehicle was stopped for speeding.  The driver of the vehicle was subsequently determined to be impaired by alcohol.  The driver of the vehicle was detained and returned to the detachment where two breath samples of 120 mg% were obtained.  Charges of Impaired Driving and Driving Over the Legal Limit are being recommended to Crown against a 25 year old resident from Canim Lake. 

On February 27, 100 Mile House RCMP executed a search warrant pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act on a residence on Cedar Avenue in 100 Mile House.  Two people were located in the residence, and were arrested.  A quantity of cocaine, marijuana and hashish we seized.  Charges of possession of a controlled substance have been recommended to Crown against a 30 year old resident of the Lower Mainland and a 32 year old female resident of 100 Mile House. 

On February 27, 100 Mile House RCMP received a complaint that two logging trucks, which had been parked on Moore Avenue, had been entered and articles had been stolen by unknown culprits.  Two Sirius brand satellite radios and a two-way radio were stolen from the cabs of the vehicles.  This is believed to have occurred between the afternoon of the February 26 and the evening of February 27.
