On February 2, 2010 the Williams Lake RCMP responded to a theft of vehicle in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue.

The culprit gained entry by breaking the passenger side window. The vehicle drove into the side of Compassionate Care Funeral Home, causing a gas leak.

The lone male driver then exited the vehicle on foot after crashing into a snow bank. This male was wearing dark pants and a plaid light background coloured jacket and fled on foot toward 3rd Ave. The area was contained by the Williams Lake Fire Department, until the gas leak was stopped.

If the public has any information regarding this crime, contact the Williams Lake RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
