In response to concerns about broken pavement on Highway 20 between the Wholesale Club and the Petro Bulk station, Dan Palesch from the Cariboo Ministry of Transportation stated this morning that they have inspected the road and identified the problem.

“A section of asphalt has settled and part of the bank has eroded due to water run-off,” he explained. “We have made our main contractor aware and they will repair it in the very near future.

“There are no safety threats to the highway.”
