Fire crews working on wildfire near the Rod and Gun Club currently

Jenny Fremlin from the Cariboo Fire Centre has advised that a fire, currently .5 of a hectare in size, was discovered near the Williams Lake Sportsmen's Assocation Rod and Gun Club, in the Bond Lake area, just before 1:00pm this afternoon.
Presently a three-person crew, helicopter and air tanker are handling the fire, and an additional 15 fire fighters are en route.
Although buildings are as close as 500 metres away from where the fire is burning, it is not believed that any structures are threatened.
The cause of this fire is under investigation.
