One male is in custody after an attempted break and enter at the government liquor store at 730 Oliver Street tonight.

At approximately 11:15pm Williams Lake RCMP attended the scene, found the glass had been smashed and a rock laying on the ground nearby.

Saftey glass prevented the thief from gaining access to the store.

RCMP on site confirmed that one male was taken into custody in relation to this matter very shortly after the incident.
