There was a break in enter at the Overlander Beer and Wine store overnight.

Williams Lake RCMP members observed a vehicle possibly related to the break and enter. "When we attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled toward the dairy fields," stated Inspector Warren Brown. "The vehicle was located in dairy fields, it rammed a police car and then fled."

At approximately 4:00am, Alexis Creek RCMP members spotted the vehicle traveling on Highway 20 west of Williams Lake.

A pursuit was initiated, and a spike belt was eventually deployed.

One male suspect is in custody while another is at large. A search for the outstanding suspect is still underway.
