Knife wounds and bear spray at 7-11
| News |
At approximately 8:00pm on Saturday June 9 Williams Lake RCMP members were dispatched to a complaint of a male with a knife and another with bear spray near the 7-11 convenience store on Proctor Street.
Upon arrival of police all parties were gone; however, one individual connected to this incident was located at Cariboo Memorial Hospital with stab wounds to his leg and chest. The second male attended the Cariboo Memorial hospital with a knife wound to the hand and bear spray contamination.
None of the wounds to either male are life threatening. One male was taken into custody but later released without charge. Neither party would cooperate with police and charges are not being contemplated at this time.
