Highway 20 closed in both directions overnight

Highway 20 is currently closed in both directions from Bella Coola to Anahim Lake (145.9 km) because of rain on compact snow.
There is no detour available.
There were reports of heavy snowfall from Hagensborg to Alexis Creek earlier in the day.
The website drivebc.ca estimates the time of opening as 9:00am on Wednesday, January 25, but lists the confidence level of that happening as 'low'. Check drivebc.ca for the next scheduled update at 7:00am Wednesday.
