Cariboo hunters are asked to be extremely cautiousHunters are asked to be extremely cautious in Bull Canyon, Meldrum Creek and Pelican Lake areas

Williams Lake, BC - Hunters need to be aware that crews are still working on the Bull, Meldrum Creek and Pelican Lake Complexes and they need to use extreme caution when hunting in these areas.

These complexes are nearing containment but crews will continue patrolling the containment lines, extinguishing hot spots and conducting rehabilitation of suppression areas. There may be small spot fires within the perimeters' of these fires showing smoke but they do not pose a threat.These wildfires have resulted in hazardous road conditions due to falling trees. The public should be aware of these conditions, and if at all possible, the public is urged to stay out of these areas.
