Councillor Surinder Rathor said, "It’s a pleasure to see our facilities being used in this capacity. Over 300 people showed up to watch the Canada vs. USA men’s gold medal hockey game last weekend. Williams Lake residents and people from surrounding areas are encouraged to share the excitement of the 2010 Paralympics. I encourage families, friends, sporting groups, non-profits, business organizations to take advantage of the Live Site and its impressive state of the art technology to view the games."

A full schedule of events being broadcast in the Gibraltar Room will be posted on the City of Williams Lake’s website at www.williamslake.ca, as well on the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex website at www.activewilliamslake.com. Tune in to www.paralympicsport.tv to watch the Paralympics live and receive up-to-date highlights.
