Grand Forks, BC - The RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit and the Grand Forks RCMP Detachment continue their investigation into the homicide death of 12 year old John David Fulton.

On Wednesday August 19th, Regional Crown Counsel approved a charge of second degree murder under section 235 of the criminal code against Kimberly Ruth Noyes in connection with the death of John David Fulton.

Kimberly Noyes made an appearance before a Justice of the Peace late this afternoon by way of teleconferencing from the Grand Forks RCMP.

Noyes is being held in custody until her next scheduled court appearance on August 20th at 2pm at the Nelson Court House.

Investigators will continue on with a wide gamut of tasks requiring completion.

“This has been an emotionally exhausting and tragic ordeal for all to comprehend and accept. At this time all that can be added is that the Grand Forks RCMP will continue to assist and support the Fulton family through the next stages of this incident, along with support from the community of Grand Forks”, stated Cpl Dan Moskaluk.
