With the Williams Lake Stampede just around the corner, now everyone can be Boss Hogg for a day with a set of magnetic novelty bull horns for the hood of your car or truck. No bull riding experience or Cadillac required.

There is a new, bullish product on Calgary's streets redefining the "running of the bulls" and the "cattle drive". Hornaments - which utilize light weight plastic, rare-earth magnets and non-abrasive rubber pads - securely attaches to the metal hood of a car or truck within seconds and without the help of tools.

Why Hornaments?  "Bull horns are a powerful symbol which resonates with many Albertans," says co-founder Janet Vielguth. "More than that, they are a fun way to show one's Stampede spirit during one of the most festive times of the year, the Calgary Stampede. Showing your hockey team some love with a car flag is wonderful, but as Albertans our roots run much deeper."

Very few would ever consider mounting a real set of bull horns to their main mode of transportation - which requires the drilling of holes etc. "Being able to quickly mount and un-mount Hornaments to the hood of your jalopy is a key feature of the product," explains co-founder Paul Moon. "Unlike a bull rider's ambition, it certainly takes less than eight seconds to get them on your ride! It's just as easy to throw them in your back seat or trunk when you're done driving."
