"We definitely plan to visit their rugby museum and learn more about the history of the sport," said team member Alexis Myhre. "While we're there, we do hope to watch an All-Blacks match and maybe even play some high school games against teams from New Zealand."
Besides hosting BBQs to raise money for their trip, the rugby girls have taken on tasks and holding raffles. "We're currently spending two days a week working in our schools cafeteria and we've also done quite a bit of yard work as well around town," said Erica Pfleiderer. "We're preparing to hold an upcoming raffle with some great prizes including a fire pit, some great beef products and a brand new BBQ."
