Provincial swim coach Vince Mikuska from Chilliwack was here early this morning coaching the Blue Fins as a start to their swim season. He has 19 years experience as a professional swim coach and comes once a year to work with the Blue Fins.

Approximately 15 swimmers ages 9-16, and head Blue Fins Coach Marilyn Haines were on the decks and in the water with Vince Mikusa.

Two Olympic swimmers, Scott Dickens and breast stroke world record holder Amy Pierse, are coming on October 23 to coach the Blue Fins, sponsored by EPCOR. They will use the conference room at Sam Ketcham Memorial Pool for a ‘nutritional chat’ and to give motivational speeches to the swimmers.
