Williams Lake T-Wolves beat Prince George in Cariboo Hockey series

Game one of a Cariboo Amateur Hockey Association League two-game series against Prince George ended 6-2 for Williams Lake on Saturday night. Williams Lake jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two periods and held on for the 6-2 win.

The two teams played again Sunday morning at 10am at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.
William Paynton led the way for the T-Wolves with three goals and one assist. Other goal scorers included Trey Thomas, Lane Wycotte and Rylen Williamson. Daine DuBoise also chipped in with a pair of assists.

With the win Williams Lake clinched home ice advantage the in the CAHA play-offs which will occur later in February.
Williams Lake Pee Wee Rep faced Prince George again on Sunday in the second league game this weekend. The final score was 4-1 for Williams Lake.

Daine DuBois led the T-Wolves with three goals and Jordan Bunce added another. Trey Thomas chipped in with two assists. Hayden Lyons was solid in net and the entire Williams Lake defense played very well limiting the Prince George team to only a handful of scoring chances.
The team is off to a nine team tournament in Quesnel next weekend.
