Letters - Letter to the Editor

letter_editorEditor:

We have just been notified by one of our 'Business Watch' partners that they received an email from Canada Post advising that they have been attempting to deliver a package to their address.

It is a scam and you are recommended not to open the email but simply delete it from your system.  Canada Post has been contacted and they advise that it is indeed a scam.

On another note, if you receive an email from a financial institute, i.e. RBC, Scotia Bank, BMO, etc. you can be very certain that it is a scam and you should immediately delete the message.

To our 'Business Watch" partner that reported this to our office: thank you. This is how we can collectively work together to make Williams Lake a safe community.

Thanks very much and please remember that Operation Red Nose is open for business and can be contacted at 778 267-0020.
