Letters - Letter to the Editor

Letter to the editor of Welcome to Williams Lake news: "The couple stood and watched it burn, even as the field caught fire..."Today about 7 km north of Lac La Hache, an elderly couple's truck and RV has caught fire (electrical), 911 had been contacted and we were told that no firetrucks were being sent to the scene because "it is out of our fire watch range and it will just have to burn".

I couldn't believe this!

The couple stood and watched it burn, even as the field caught fire. All they saved was their purse/wallet, camera and bibles, everything else ... gone.
