Letters - Letters - General

The Cariboo Cowgirls Drill Team, Williams Lake, BCApril 16-18, 2010 marked the 20th Anniversary of the Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo and what a celebration it turned out to be!  The Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo Executive, Directors and Volunteers should take great pride and fulfillment in the fact that their organizational skills and dedication have been instrumental in making the Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo not only a notable regional event, but a huge success.  For many fans, participants and contestants the Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo is the ‘kick off’ to the upcoming season and a rodeo of this caliber and magnitude, sets an elevated standard for those rodeo’s that will follow!

It was both a privilege and an honor for us; The Cariboo Cowgirls Drill Team to not only participate, but perform, in this regional event.  We appreciate and value the opportunity that the Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo Association afforded us to partake in this now, historical event.  Your continued support to our, ‘Home Town, Home Grown,  Cariboo Region Team ‘ is greatly valued.

We not only appreciate, but also applaud all the Williams Lake Indoor Association’s Executive, Directors and Volunteers for their timeless efforts and dedication to bring the City of Williams Lake and the Cariboo Region as a whole, such a long-lived, notable western experience.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and outstanding representation of not only Williams Lake and its western culture, but that of our Rodeo and Cowboy heritage. We too take pride in our Regions long-lived culture and heritage.  Those very traditions that were practiced by the pioneers that tamed the Cariboo-Chilcotin and to those ‘cowboys and cowgirls that still practice and hone the same skills today.

A job well done, we are proud to have been part of your event and celebration!
