I wonder how the Fiberals are going to be remembered after their terms in office.  Being a firm believer that the things you say you are going to do, and the things you actually do, are not always one and the same, it begs to examine the record of our current government. 

Telling us just before the last election that the HST was not being considered, and making it a reality within three months of being elected. 

A lie. 

Telling us that the deficit would be much smaller than what it actually turned out to be. 

A lie. 

Having Federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty agree to pay B.C. $250 million within seven days of the HST legislation being introduced. 

 A bribe? 

In Aug of 2008 the Liberals awarded their top political staff and decision makers from a 22 to 43 per cent pay increases.  

According to Murray Coell, Minister of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development, "They're our top decision-makers and they handle a $30 billion-plus budget".  

These changes follow double-digit increases of two years previous. 

Coell added, "….we want to make sure we can attract the best and brightest from across the country, and also to retain the ones that are here so they don't leave for better-paying jobs in other provinces”. 

With all this expensive talent on hand, I don’t understand how this $2.8 billion deficit could have just appeared as a totally unexpected surprise on the part of the government. 

Incompetence? 

Having the highest child poverty rate in Canada for many consecutive years. 

Unconscionably shameful. 

Re-electing the Fiberals to a third term. 

UNBELIEVABLE.
