This week members of the Williams Lake Pipe Band entertained youngsters and care givers at the Williams Lake and District Day Care. In full kilt regalia, Doug White, John Visentin and Joe Bazan played several sets of tunes on the playground.
Linda Bond, Administrator said that one of the best things about the Highland music experience on the playground was kids getting to experience things they haven’t heard before and to see how much enjoyment people get from playing music.
“The kids were very interested in the piping, and even one little guy who is one year old, was enthralled the whole time,” she said. “It was neat for the kids to see how much goes into playing the instrument.”
