Although many of us feel like we've seen enough snow to last us a while, this unique look at a single flake of snow on a pretty winter scarf, may bring new a perspective.

Photo taken by Shannon Heryet of Williams Lake, who said, "Ten inches of snow is just annoying, but each individual snowflake is amazing and makes winter much better."

Shannon added that she especially enjoys macro photography, "I love the little details, that everyone overlooks.  If you look at things very closely, there is so much beauty."
