“I do gel and acrylic nails, including a UV gel polish that strengthens nails, doesn’t crack or peel and is safe for health care and food service workers,” she explained. “You can have nail extensions, and if you’re going to a special function, for example, I can apply the UV gel and put a design on your nails that will give you a completely different look for that occasion, or you can keep it on for two or three weeks.

“I love nail artistry. No matter what your shape, size or age, you can always have lovely nails. They are an expression of ‘you’ and unlike wardrobe, beautiful nails will always fit and always complement you.”

Yvonne also does unique, free-hand art on nails, and even offers party nail treatments for little girls. “Five young girls can come and get their nails done for a party, and I will also do mobile service for small groups,” she continued. “I will do bridal nails and graduation nails, offer 3-D nails and have air-brushed nails coming this summer---we do nails that are perfect for any occasion, any season and any personality.”

She uses Haken skin products for her customers, high-quality products that she said contain the essence of what a body needs, and leaves you with supple, re-hydrated hands and feet.

Men are very welcome at DeVeau Bodyworks, where a full line of treatments and products are available. “Men now make up nearly a third of all spa-goers, according to the International Spa Association,” Yvonne said. “We give our male clients an atmosphere that is comfortable for them.”

Treatments for men include massage, manicures, pedicures, as well as leg and reflexology foot massage that helps with circulation, stress relief and overall health.

She also does hair-removal wax treatments for both men and women.
