Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex Active Living Guide 2010There are always safe and fun recreation programs for kids, youth and adults going on at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex, and the month of September is no exception. 

Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Ballroom Dance, various Belly Dancing classes, Jazz Fit, Volleyball, First Aid courses, and Spicy Dance for Women, are just some of the adult activities that are available this fall.

Rec & Roll - After School Day Care 

Rec & Roll is a provincially licensed after school program held at Marie Sharpe.  The children are provided with an opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and educational activities which include arts and crafts, homework time, games, stories and drama. Offered Monday through Friday during the regular school year, Rec & Roll provides quality care for 5-12 year olds needing after school care.

Boys Hip Hop

Boys Hip Hop is a high-energy, age appropriate class; kids will learn fun hip-hop techniques and combinations danced to popular music.

Children's Programs

We have lots of new programs this September at the CMRC. Check out Little Ballerina, Creative Dance, Dance Express, Rising Chefs, Blizzards Ice Skating, and much more!

Skinny Jeans Fit

Rock your body into shape! This program will focus on developing strength, power, balance, and boosting your heart rate for 60 minutes.

Youth Programs

Lots of fun this fall for young adults at the CMRC. Skinny Jeans Fit is our new dance workout class and the ever popular Tae Kwon Do class is being offered. Check out the adult programs for some extra fun.

Biggest Loser

This program is modeled after the Biggest Loser TV show with some "made in the Cariboo" modifications.  A registered dietician will set up individual diet programs and provide ongoing assessments.  There will be a wide variety of different physical activities to sample in a safe environment.  You will also be provided with a 3 month fitness pass to the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.

Adult Programs

The Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex has September booked solid for adults looking for some fun! Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Ballroom Dance, various Belly Dancing classes, Jazz Fit, Volleyball, First Aid courses, and Spicy Dance for Women.
