Larry Gibbons of Williams Lake won People's Choice with his 1969 Dodge Dart GTS
The Lakers Car Club hosted another successful event this past weekend, they're 9th Annual Show 'n Shine in the Canadian Tire parking lot.

Car enthusiasts enjoyed over 57 participant cars, many from out of town, including a 2002  Toyota Spyder from Victoria, BC.  Joe Bonnel of Williams Lake won Best Bike with his 1987 Harley Davidson Softail, while Larry Gibbons, also of Williams Lake, won Peoples Choice with his 1969 Dodge Dart GTS.

Three members of the Lakers Car Club, Colin Caldwell, Wayne Potter and Rod Froberg had attended a 400+ participant car show in Kamloops the day before where Rod won the Best 4-Wheel Drive category for the second year in a row.

The club continues to grow, as Renee Albinati joined recently and took over the position of Treasurer, previously help by Colin Caldwell, who is now the Events Co-ordinator.
