One of the most unique romantic outings in Williams Lake is the annual Valentine's Day sleigh ride put on by the Cariboo Draft Horse Club. 

The fun is open to all, and eveyone from toddlers to seniors enjoys the opportunity to experience Cariboo winter wilderness beauty behind a team of beautiful draft horses. 

The event is held if the weather permits, and will take place on Anderson Road, approximately 5km up Dog Creek Road from 11:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday, February 11.

The sleigh rides are open to the public and are by donation. A concession will be available for participants.

Thanks to the hard work of the club and some generous community supporters, they purchased a professionally-designed and built wheelchair-accessible wagon, which has been used for rides for seniors, at the Harvest Fair. The Cariboo Draft Horse Club are an integral part of the Williams Lake Stampede parade and the Christmas Lights parade.   

Bring a friend, bring your family, bring a sweeheart: the Valentine's Day Sleigh Ride is open to everyone.
