10282009_borderlinehalloweenCarmen Williams, Megan Law, Kianna Haselhan, Brenna Barley and Danielle Schultz from the Borderline singing group came to practice this week in their 'frightful finery' and, along with guitar player Dan St. Amand, added a festive touch to the reheasal. 

The City of Williams Lake is hosting a fireworks display at the Stampede Grounds on Saturday October 31 at 7:45 pm. Mayor Kerry Cook and City Councillors Geoff Bourdon and Natalie Montoya will be on hand to enjoy the event. 

10282009_halloweenhauntedhouseThe 'Nightmare on 9th Ave' will welcome guests starting at 1 pm, when families and children can tour the haunted house at 717 9th Avenue and enjoy refreshments, with proceeds going to the Metis Association Food Bank. 

Motorists are cautioned to drive carefully on Halloween and to watch for trick-or-treaters. Have a safe and happy Halloween!
