The Public Commission for Legal Aid is holding a hearing in Williams Lake

The Public Commission on Legal Aid is travelling across the province, seeking input from British Columbians on the future of legal aid. You have a chance to participate, as the Public Commission is holding a Hearing in Williams Lake soon.
Submissions can be made by organizations or individuals who have had dealings with, thoughts on, or innovative ideas about the provision of legal aid in British Columbia. Written submissions and in-person presentations will form the basis of a report that will be released to the public and delivered to the governments of British Columbia and Canada.
Public Commission Hearings are open and the community is invited to see and hear local presentations.
WHEN: Monday, September 20
WHERE: Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex - 525 Proctor Street – in the Gibraltar Room
TIME: Hearings begin at 10:00 am and end no later than 4:00 pm.
