The 4-H Show and Sale is in full action at the stockyard grounds today, and participants say they are enjoying the improved weather and the clearer air.

Megan Law set up her photography table last Friday in preparation for the photography show, which followed and overlapped with the dog competition that evening.

Also entered in the ‘rabbit’ category, Megan and ‘Lily’ went into the showmanship ring on Sunday, following the sheep show. Lily and Megan came in first in their class of ‘Fancy Doe’, took ‘Best-Groomed’, won third in Showmanship and also won the overall ‘Reserve Grand Champion’.

Today is the beef show, tomorrow is the swine show and Wednesday is the main sale. The buyer’s dinner is at 3pm, there will be opening words at 5:15 and the sale will start at 5:30pm.
