Thursday August 27 is Cruisin for a Cause day at A&W's across Canada

On Thursday, August 27, all A&W restaurants across Canada will be celebrating Cruisin’ for a Cause Day. A&W restaurant owners have committed to donate $1 from every Teen Burger sold within this 24 hour period to help MS Society of Canada to end MS.

Williams Lake's own Lakers Car Club is participating by holding a Show 'n Shine at the A&W on Highway #97 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

"There will be a rootbeer chugging contest," advised Trisha Feddema, Assistant Manager at our local A&W. "First prize will be a 2 Litre A&W Rootbeer plus a large, glass A&W mug."

Everyone is invited to swing by, treat the family to a burger and a rootbeer, and enjoy the beautifully restored cars, truck and motorbikes while helping a great cause.
