4th annual Edgefest Charity Event set for August 27,28,29

** BAND UPDATE** We have SOUPBONE and JAMES GANG performing.
Edgefest started as a 50th birthday party for three guys that went to kindergarten together. It was supposed to be a surprise, so each guy thought it was a surprise for the other.
Lori and Dave always wanted to host an annual charity event, so they built the platform part of the stage the first year so they could have a jam session. They are now in their fourth year and with the help of a lot of friends and donated bits and pieces, the stage has been moved to its permanent location and has a roof on it.
The event is still taking baby steps, but they hope that with continued exposure and time the grounds can be improved, more people will attend and they will really be able to help out the local charities. The original dream was a 'motorcycle enthusiast' event; but since that first event they felt it would be a far better idea to merge the rider and the non rider in an effort to bridge some stigma gaps and who knows; maybe inadvertantly promote motorcycle awareness as well as having fun with good people and good music.
The 4th annual Edgefest happens August 27, 28 and 29 on 40 private acres at 111 Mile Valley, get all the event information here.
