040710_stone-soupThe South Cariboo Agriculture Enterprise Development Center are hosting a gathering day to discuss practical ways for local sourcing, food production, distribution and exploring potential uses of the new Agriculture Development Center in 100 Mile House.

They are seeking input from farmers, producers and consumers alike. This will be an all day event in the Valley Room at The Lodge in 100 Mile House, beginning at 9:00am on Saturday April 17. The meeting will be facilitated by David MacLeod. As an exercise in self-sufficiency, Stone Soup will be made. You are encouraged to bring a contribution of any produce from your farm, garden or home to add to the soup.
