Evacuation alerts rescinded for Meldrum and Pelican Complexes

Cariboo Chilcotin, B.C. – The Evacuation Alerts for the Pelican and Meldrum Complexes have been lifted. The only remaining Evacuation Alert is for the Tsacha Lake area in the Chilcotin.

People travelling in the Pelican Complex area may still experience travel restrictions imposed by the Ministry of Forests and Range as a result of ongoing fire suppression activities.
