The importance of tradeshow banners, by Tom Floey of Speedpro Signs in Williams Lake, BCSix reasons to update your tradeshow display

By Tom Foley

Your tradeshow display reflects the personality others will see in your company. Initial reactions will determine if you've captured your audience, or if your company is just making more visual noise. While your booth was once acceptable, it may not be doing the job anymore, but why? Here are six reasons to consider updating your tradeshow look.

  1. Your current trade show booth is worn out. Those dents, scratches, stains, and duct tape repairs don't represent your professionalism or reputation.
  2. You have a new marketing message. Integrate your look with refreshed marketing, new products, rebranding, and new tag lines.

  3. You need a bigger (or smaller) trade show booth. Bigger presence and a bigger footprint attracts more opportunity, unless your budget is limited or you want to exhibit in smaller spaces to lower costs.

  4. You need a second portable display. For field offices or multi-location visits on a road trip, portability is often practical and impactful. Maybe you have multiple shows to attend at the same time, or would like to leave a small unit in your office reception area while you are exhibiting.

  5. Your current trade show booth is too heavy. Lighten up with a portable unit, or one made of three banner stands. Cut shipping costs and set up anxiety with a manageable unit.

  6. You are new to exhibiting and need your first display, or you saw an exhibit you really liked at a trade show. You want to throw your dated look in the trash now that you have seen the colour, lines, and look you love!
