There is a new place in town where homebuilders and homeowners can find custom cabinets and granite countertops at more than competitive prices, to put the finishing touches on a kitchen, bath or laundry room. 3Gen Cabinetry represents three generations of a family with long-held beliefs in integrity, quality and impeccable customer service.

3Gen Cabinetry designs, manufactures and installs high-quality, custom cabinets made from solid maple wood. The professional attention to every detail, as well as the fact that melamine is never used in the construction of 3Gen cabinets, is an example of the exceptional quality that sets them apart. Another thing that puts 3Gen Cabinetry in a league of its own is the prices, which are far more than competitive. 

The company originated when Lakepoint Development owners Tyler Boucher and his father Eric Boucher needed custom, quality cabinetry to include in the new homes they construct. “My dad is a cabinet maker---during his career before coming to Williams Lake he built 80 or 90 custom homes and did all his own cabinetry,” Tyler explained. “On this project in Williams Lake we decided to let him do what he does best and build custom cabinetry for us. Some of our trades people saw our cabinets, loved them and asked us for a price.

“We decided to launch 3Gen Cabinetry and make our custom cabinets available to anyone.”

3Gen Cabinetry also includes the skills, hard work and expertise of second-year carpentry apprentice Angie Poulson, who helps build and install upper and lower cabinets for kitchens and baths and laundry rooms. “We also specialize in custom-made islands. Our cabinets are individually made for the dimensions of your kitchen, including the style, doors and colours: we will stain them any colour to suit you and we have four or five different door styles to choose from,” Tyler continued. “These cabinets are 4-6 weeks start to finish---which we deliver and install ourselves---and they include soft-closing drawers.”

Another beautiful kitchen or bath component available from 3Gen Cabinetry is granite countertops---dozens of colours to choose from at excellent prices. “You can look at granite countertop and cabinet samples at Windsor Plywood: talk to Kathy or Daryle and check out the quality,” Tyler explained. “Our granite prices start at $79 per square foot, and even our base price items are high quality and a beautiful product. 

“We wanted to have a base price that covers a wide range of products so that everyone can afford it, and find what they want.”

Tyler said that customer service is critically important to 3Gen Cabinetry, and that they make sure that they deliver a great product on time. “Going above and beyond for your customers and giving them ongoing support has been my dad’s philosophy for many years and is a family tradition,” he continued. “Tell us what you want and we’ll deliver---it’s your home and we want you to love it.”
