All shook upBy Jill Berry

I was 'All Shook Up' with the knowledge that it was Elvis theme week thinking that the performances would be as stellar as Beatles week. Some of the contestants didn't disappoint, of course, but some were a bit off the mark.

Adam Lambert was the guest mentor this week while the Idols visited Las Vegas. I enjoyed his honesty with the contestants, but in some cases it just wasn't enough to push them over the top.

Crystal Bowersox didn't disappoint with her song choice of 'Saved'. Using an electric guitar, she put her own contemporary spin on the song and got a positive review from the judges.

Andrew Garcia got a bit of 'flack' from the judges for his choice of 'Hound Dog' but I didn't think it was all that bad, personally. It certainly wasn't his worst performance to date.

When Tim Urban got up to sing, 'Can't Help Falling in Love With You', I told my daughter to be quiet, because I needed to hear how much he was going to suck. Strangely enough, he didn't! It was actually one of my favourites of the night. Weird.

Lee Dewyze, my favorite every week, really knocked it out of the park with 'A Little Less Conversation'. I'm pretty sure when it comes down to two left, he and Crystal will be the ones left standing.

Aaron Kelly got a mixed review of his rendition of 'Blue Suede' shoes. I didn't think it was too bad. Big song, little guy—kudos to him for giving it a shot.

Siobhan Magnus is getting a little too big for her britches if you ask me. Her choice of 'Suspicious Mind' went over like a wet blanket with the judges and I'm hoping the voters saw it that way, too.

The much-talked-about Micheal Lynch did a pretty good job with 'In the Ghetto' but I still can't see him as our next Idol. Maybe the judges saved him so they would have a valid excuse to knock out two of the 'lesser' Idols all at once.

Strutting her stuff, Katie Stevens belted out 'Baby What do You Want Me to Do?' It was OK: very confident and self-assured for someone her age, but again I'm not sure she is Idol material.

Casey James sang 'Lawdy Miss Bawdy' a song I've never heard, but he pulled it off well. I'm pretty sure he'll be with us for awhile yet.

Well, tomorrow is the infamous 'Double Elimination' round. Any guesses as to who is going home? With Idol, your guess is as good as mine.
