For those who may wish to experience the thrill of performing plays live but have never had the chance, Williams Lake Studio Theatre offers a great opportunity to get started.
Whether you've acted in school plays or a church production and you caught 'the bug' or you've never acted on any stage, but think it might be a lot of fun, opportunity is knocking on your door.
Tonight, and again on September 8, director Sharon Hoffman is holding auditions for 'Who Walks in the Dark'. Sharon describes this production as a 'fun play with a Hallowe'en flavour.' It is a horror mystery which involves mayhem and mummies in a Victorian parlour.

Sharon explained that if you're interested in auditioning you can phone her at 392-5671 or simply go to the Studio Theatre at Glendale School at 7:00pm tonight or 7:00pm next Wednesday. "Wear comfortable clothing, bring your reading glasses if you need them and be prepared to enter the world of studio theatre," she said. "I need six women and five men for this play. One male role and two female roles are for young people in their 20s and the rest are for any age from 25-60+." A lighting assistant and a props person.are also required for this production.
The play is on stage the last week in October and first week in November. Watch for more information on the play in the next few weeks.
