From September 3 until October 2, 2010 at The Station House Gallery visitors can enjoy the following exhibitions:
In the main gallery: Theresa Augustin - A Journey to the Heart of South America
A visual journey in mixed media of Theresa's experience of living in South America (Argentinian and Bolivian Andes), with the intent of sharing the colourful, playful, and musical essences that had come to be appreciated and loved.
In the upper gallery : Cornelius Iwan - Sneaking Up to the Bears
German wildlife photographer exhibits the natural behaviour and power of the beast in its wild Cariboo Chilcotin environment. Bears and other wildlife that share these unique spaces are captured by camera.
Other events also coming up include a 'Garage Sale Gallery Fundraiser' on Sunday, September 12 from 10am until approximately 3pm hosted by the Selks at1395 Twelfth Avenue North. All proceeds will be donated to the Station House Gallery.
Yoga Classes at the Station House Gallery with Kim VanDiest
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7am until 8am and 6pm until 7pm. The first class is free.
$10 per class if you purchase a 10 punch card, or $12 per class drop in.
Watercolour Workshop with Grant Fuller
October 2 and 3 from 9am until 4pm at the Central Interior Art Centre (Old Firehall).
Cost: $125 CAC members $150 non members.
