Potters pack the kilns for Valentine's Day

The Cariboo Potters Guild is organizing another Empty Bowls fundraiser. The event is scheduled for February 14 at Alley Katz Bistro. People can get a bowl of soup for $15 and get to keep the bowl. “We are working like slaves trying to make more bowls than last year as it sold out so quickly,” said Jude Prevost.

Last year the Cariboo Potters Guild made 180 bows and raised approximately $3,800 for the Salvation Army Food Bank through the Empty Bowl program, which was hosted by Beeotcheese Bistro and Bakery.
