Minivan and tractor-trailer collide near Lac La Hache

On January 26, 2010 at approximately 5:15pm a collision occurred on Highway 97 just north of Lac La Hache at Clancy's Restaurant between a mini van and a semi truck. The Lac La Hache Fire Department, BC Ambulance Service and the 100 Mile House RCMP Traffic Services unit responded to the collision.
The two occupants of the minivan were rushed to the 100 Mile House hospital with serious, but non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi truck was taken to the Williams Lake hospital with minor injuries and later released.
The 100 Mile House RCM Traffic Services Unit's investigation into the crash indicated that the minivan pulled out of Clancy's gas station and turned southbound in front of a north bound semi truck. The matter is still under investigation.
