Chilcotin Road Elementary student speaks for animals

One local elementary student took a step to make a difference when she placed a donation jar in her school office to raise money for the SCPA. Tatiana Hill, 11 years old, raised $136 for the local shelter.
(Tatiana Hill paid a visit to the cats that her donation will help feed and shelter while they wait for new homes.)
“This kind of donation is so welcome and so appreciated,” said shelter manager Liz Dighton. “Kitten season has hit, and we are in great need of canned kitten food, plastic spoons and cupcake papers for feeding, and blankets and towels to keep them comfortable.”
