The Williams Lake & District Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will be hosting two different municipal candidate forums in Williams Lake for the 2011 municipal election.

Historically the Chamber has organized and hosted All Candidates Forums for numerous years.  The forums provide an opportunity for candidates to be seen and heard at a public venue.  They also give the public an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their plans for the future of Williams Lake.

The first forum will be Wednesday, November 2 at the Tourism Discovery Centre starting at 5:30 PM.  All candidates are invited however this forum will be only for the Councillor candidates to speak about their platforms.

The second forum will be a luncheon Wednesday, November 3 at Beeotcheese‘s Restaurant starting at 11:30 am.  This forum will be for Mayoralty candidates with tickets being sold in advance.

The format for both events will be confirmed at a later date, according to the Chamber of Commerce.

The Williams Lake & District Chamber of Commerce is the 'Voice of Business' for Williams Lake and area.

There is no charge for the public event at the Tourism Discovery Centre and we invite everyone to come out and participate.
