Williams Lake Chamber of Commerce AGM and Luncheon October 29, 2009At the Chamber of Commerce today members voted on new Chamber board members in the annual election. There were fresh faces and familiar faces as candidates for the new board, and Chamber members enjoyed the opportunity to hear what each candidate would bring to the board if elected. 

Feature speakers were Penny Robart from ESP Consulting and Brian Battison from Teseko Mines. Penny spoke about a new program at ESP for small business employee training, and Brian talked about the commitment that Taseko Mines has to bring Prosperity Mine to Williams Lake and surrounding communities.

Home Maid by Kim, Kariboo Video Production & News, Concrete Fitness Ltd and Stan Com Developments were welcomed as new Chamber members and it was announced the Charlene Harrison will be the new Chair of the Business Excellence Awards event to be held on March 13, 2010.
