Halloween food bank

There will be Halloween fun for all ages for a great cause on October 31, when 'Nightmare on 9th Avenue' returns to Williams Lake. Wayne Lucier, CMHA Street Worker and workshop instructor for the Cariboo Chilcotin Metis Association, says that this year the haunted house will be better than ever. "Kids and families are invited to come and view the haunted house starting at 1 pm," he said. "You can buy hotdogs, hamburgers, soft drinks and hot chocolate, and all proceeds will go to the Cariboo Chilcotin Metis Association."
It is when dusk falls on 9th Avenue, though, that true Halloween bravery comes to light. The nighttime viewing of the haunted house is a jack-o-lantern of a different colour, with thrills and frights and spine-tingling delights that will make it an unforgettable experience.
The haunted house viewing is by donation, with proceeds of cash or non-perishable food items going to the Metis Association Food Bank. See you on October 31 at 717 - 9th Avenue, if you dare!
