Flag person injured on Highway 97

A flag person has been injured on Highway 97 at Mission Road. Interior Roads safety crews are at the scene of a gas line break and are directing traffic in both directions on Highway 97.
The 150 Mile Fire Department was first on the scene, followed shortly after by the BC Ambulance Services. The injured woman has been transported to Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
Williams Lake RCMP and Worksafe BC were already on site due to the earlier incident.
People are reminded to pay close attention to and obey all traffic safety personnel.
