Northbound traffic on Highway 97 is currently being guided through by pilot car 2.5 kms south of the Horsefly-Likely Road turn off, in 150 Mile House because of a damaged gas line.
Southbound traffic is not being allowed through and is lined up as far back as Mission Road, the turn off to enter the Sugar Cane Reserve.
Drivers can detour around this area northbound through Pigeon Road and southbound through Mission Road.
According to Drive BC, which was last updated at 12:37pm, the estimated time of opening is 4:00pm.
