Lakers Car Club 16th Annual Spring RoundupThe 16th annual Lakers Car Club Spring Roundup starts on Saturday morning at the A&W on Highway 97. There will be a Ladies Only poker run sponsored by the WLBIA from 10:00am to 2:00pm. They will begin registering entrants for the Sunday Show & Shine at noon and the poker run gets under way at 1:00pm.  

The evening events begin with a barbeque in the Stampede grounds at 6:00pm and continue at 8:00pm with Cruise Night. They will be cruising up to Thunder Mountain Speedway for a show lap around the track during the season opener ARCA WEST OK Tire Race Series Event. 

Cruise Night fun continues at dusk, when families are invited back to the Stampede Grounds for a drive-in movie. The animated movie Cars will be the feature, admission is only $20 per carload at the gate.  

Sunday's activities begin when the gates open at 8:30am and the show starts at 10:00am. There is also a Ladies only poker run starting at 10:00am.  Sight & Sound will be holding their Annual DB Sound off from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The awards presentations begin at 2:30pm. There are 50 classes with 66 trophies plus door prizes, there will also be dash plaques for the first 200 entries. This is an open show which welcomes all cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and even tractors. 

The CDC will have their Annual Children's Festival for the kids in Boitanio Park from 10:am to 3:00pm with a magic show, concerts, big bounce toys, craft booths and lots of free activities and events including local talent.
